ABOUT

Molly Shears is a writer and director based in Toronto. Her work often includes themes of coming of age, absurdism, and people on the periphery of a major event.

She received her BFA in fine arts from OCAD University (CA) in 2016 and her MFA in filmmaking from The London Film School (UK) in 2020. As of 2024, Molly teaches in the Faculty of Art at OCAD University. She is currently in development for her first feature film as well as several short-form projects.
